The NBA, in association with Adidas, has teamed up to offer a brand new, even lighter uniform concept tonight when the Golden State Warriors take on the Western Conference leading San Antonio Spurs at Oracle Arena in Oakland. The, "Adizero Short Sleeved Jersey," is just one of the many ways the NBA keeps the association fun and exciting while continuing to build this already multi-billion dollar industry. Just a few years ago, the NBA launched their, "Revolution 30," jerseys by Adidas that were deemed the, "Lightest uniforms ever created," by many reporters and articles.
The jerseys incorporated a few of Adidas technologies that would decrease the friction between the cloth and the players skin as well as another technology called, "Climacool," which keeps the heat from building up on the jersey, drying it twice as fast too. They are also made from 60 percent recycled materials and tend to create the appearance of a cycling team jersey of the Tour De France.
All of the teams in the league are currently wearing the Revolution 30 jerseys while the Warriors have opted to try the Adizero Short Sleeved Jersey in three separate games this season. Although the short sleeved jersey contains all of the current technologies of the Revolution 30 jersey, it claims to be 26 percent lighter. The Adizero Short Sleeved Jersey allows for maximum movement in all phases of the game, equal with that of a traditional tank basketball jersey. Take a look for yourself here and catch the game later tonight to see how it looks live on the court. Tip off starts at 7:30pm PST.

Wow, how fashionable. The NBA wants their team to have the best fashion, style yet comfort. Adidas is smart to work with the NBA so they can advertise their products to "us" consumers. Many people look up to the athletics and as a result will want to buy jerseys similar to the athletics. It is fascinating how they came up with the jersey and how much technology they used. Good post.
